Hani Farrukh is a Muslim American storyboard artist based in the Bay Area.
He has worked on multiple short films for the Pixar Co-op program. He has also worked on a Qatar Airway commercial for a freelance director, and a test storyboard for a feature film called Mustache directed by Imran J. Khan and produced by the producer of EIGHT GRADE and THE BEAR.
Hani is directing and producing his own short film, Shoot For The Moon, a story about dreams and ambition, explored through themes of diversity and inclusion. It aims to inspire those who continue pushing forward despite setbacks, uncertainty, and obstacles. As both a filmmaker and storyteller, Hani reflects that same journey himself, continuing to shoot for the moon.
Hani enjoys drawing storyboards because they help guide emotion, focus, and pacing, shaping how both the artist and audience experience the story, almost like holding and directing a camera through each scene.
